I found this medicine bottle that reads Central Drug Stores Chicago last summer. I’m assuming it is from around the turn of the century. Does any one have any information on it? It seems to be scarce, as I can’t find anything online.
I was researching bottles from Flint, and saw this post. They are nice milks, just common. The design almost reminds me of the Artic Dairy bottles. I have a new idea for finding bottles too if you want to chat about it sometime. I don’t think too many people have thought about it before.
I know this is kind of late, but these are common bottles. The Freeman dairy was the first dairy in Flint from what I saw online. I have found many of these in all sizes.
Thanks for the help Leon, I appreciate it. I’m free most weekends to go digging. One spot I found has glass as early as 1870. I think I just have to find a good pocket. The spot is very ashy.
Found this bottle recently and can’t find any info on it. I believe it is from Grosse Pointe Michigan. It is most likely from the late 1890’s to 1910 I believe.
