Is this real?

Thanks all. Pretty much what I told the friend who wanted to buy it. I gave him the link here so he can hear it from the experts. Just want to say thank you to everyone who chimes in every time I ask a question. Your advice is much appreciated!

Yes, the thing next to it is the stopper. I'm not interested in buying it, just posted for a friend who is looking at it for resale. It didn't look right to me but what do I know. I'll tell him not to pay $500. What do you think it's worth?

Is this real? An antique guy is trying to sell it, saying it's an early perfume. He wants $500.

Liberty flask

If anyone remembers anything please chime in. It almost looks like a Bennington type pottery. I'd love to know more about it.

I'm optimistically posting in "before 1900". Found today at a yard sale a glazed brown pottery flask about 5 1/2" tall embossed Liberty on both sides and a portrait of who I think is Columbia also on both. Bottom has number markings but I can't really make them out. So, what is it and how old...
