    I can't believe I didn't break it

Hi, Coldwater! I appreciate the kind words, [:)] but I should know betterI like to think that it was just my excitement. That same day, I brought home a bronze heron (over 5 feet!), and a few other things, all right before I needed to go to work. I didn't break my little bottle, but I bruised a...

before I give it away, any thoughts on this teal bottle?

Thanks! Into the box with the Duraglas, pickles, milks, and MOM bottles it goes. [:)]

before I give it away, any thoughts on this teal bottle?

Hi, all! I need to start clearing out some of what I have, and I've never been able to figure this one out. It's teal, nicely whittled, embossed "S" on the bottom. The reason it confuses me (and I wonder if it's not a Pier 1 bottle that just ended up next to a master ink) are the lip and...

    I can't believe I didn't break it

Dear God, those pictures are still showing up as enormous on my screen, and I don't seem to be able to edit (though I will keep trying). I, too, Red, love the little apothecary bottles. The pontilled one is on the left. The one on the right is a favorite of mine, but if there's a pontil, it's...

    I can't believe I didn't break it

Sorry that last picture is so big. If that's a problem, I can adjust, but first, the bottom, which is hopefully clear.

    I can't believe I didn't break it

I went out today, and hadn't found much, until this. It's perhaps 4 inches high, and so incredibly delicate that I couldn't believe it wasn't broken, and that I didn't break it. It's got a wonderful open pontil (I'm bad with recognizing pontils, but when they're like this, I'm good). The lip is...

    is this a master ink?

I think it may look cruder than it would have, just because of how beat up it's gotten in the water. A lot of the bottles are more recent than they would appear to be at first.I forget what else I found with it, but that was fairly ragged, too. It's a spot that is tricky for me to hit, because...

    is this a master ink?

I forgot to mention, but you already probably knew, that it's a three piece mold. The seams on the sides are very faint, but I see them, stopping right where the neck begins. I'm tired, but I hope that made sense.

    is this a master ink?

You guys are the best! I apologize for the rather blurry bottom picture. I haven't been able to find a pontil mark, but the bottom is, like the rest of the bottle, loaded with bubbles and the patina doesn't help. I'm pretty bad at spotting all but the most obvious, so if it's sanded, I likely...

    is this a master ink?

The second picture, of the neck and lip. This one is loaded with more bubbles than any other bottle I have:

    is this a master ink?

Hello, all! I had a great few days of wonderful finds, and I got spoiled. When it stopped, I got cranky. [:D] It was suggested (by those around me who don't want to deal with the cranky me) that I go through what I already have, so I did. I came back to this bottle that I'd found about a...

Getting rubber(?) out of this bottle?

Yes, epackage, that was the collage I posted to Instagram and FB during the process. I have a few friends who really want to "take the bottles off my hands." They have, in past, expressed extreme displeasure at the thought of barnacles, breaks, or anything dirty. I wanted them to see that...

Getting rubber(?) out of this bottle?

Here they are, finished. The one that was full is in the middle. It's just got a slug plate, no embossing, but it's wonderfully clean and empty! At least I have a few tools to help me if I get another bottle full of mystery ick. [:)]
