My years long search for a bottle display solution come to fruition at last.

Thanks so much for the superlative tip. I have purchased both Museum Gel (transparent and for glass) and Museum Putty (white and for multiple surfaces). I would have knocked something off today while hanging a picture if it weren't for the museum putty.

If you want to accommodate more bottles, they have a 5 ft version as well. It has four lights (vs 2) and a center back support. https://www.displays2go.com/P-34008/LED-Wall-Showcase-Cabinet-Tempered-Glass-Shelves. Looks like you could get 18 per shelf - an additional 24 bottles in the case.

Thanks for your recommendation!!! I have gotten both the putty and the gel which are appropriate for different materials and situations. Museum gel for the bottle display case, definitely.

I'll most likely cut the plug and run it through the wall into the closet to a light switch. There's one there for closet light already.

The instructions also said to use a minimum of 4 anchors per bracket (they supplied many more). I suppose that may be adequate if you never put anything in it; but then what's the point of having it? I envisioned something very different. Here are the product images with the case practically...

That's a definite plus, but [art deco] bottles are best illuminated from behind, and this is one way to achieve that, even and especially in ambient light (display lights off). The light reflects back from the mirror thus backlighting the bottle so you can see the details from the front (in...

Details on the "fancy classic sodas" [NFS] pictured in the display case starting top left . . . Just in case you wonder.

This is a wall mount display case, 39" x 39" x 6" with two led top lights and mirror back. Shelves are adjustable and the sliding glass doors lock. There is an on/off switch, but you have to unlock the case to get to it. It plugs into an outlet so I may install an in-line switch or use a...

Does anyone know the story behind 3C Nectar?

3-C Nectar, "The Drink of the Gods", was a cola produced by the Columbia Chemical Corporation of Roanoke, VA.. 3-C does not mean 3 cents (or centa), but stands for the 3 "C's" of Columbia Chemical Corporation. The brand advertised their product as having no caffeine, cocaine, or other...

temporary display repair for heel chip?

It's the one in the middle with the heel chip. Still leaning to the left a bit, but I need that face displayed, so turning the bottle is out. The 'wanderers' were the bottles in the top left corner - the HVAC system is behind this wall.

temporary display repair for heel chip?

Thanks guys. I came up with a similar solution to hot glue - paraffin wax. I used it again to keep my bottles from walking off on my glass shelves. In the latter case I heat the block of wax with heat gun until a film of melted wax is created, swipe the the bottle across it and stick it on...
