    Questions about Syrup or Honey jar.

    Thanks for the info. The bottle is made to lean forward, that way you didn't have to put you knife so far in to it in order to get what was inside. That is why my Grandmother put honey in it. I thought it came with honey, because that's the way I always saw it.

    My BIL was in the remodeling business, but he was also an amateur artist but mostly in wood. He traveled to India several times to buy items for the Indian Restaurants he was working on. Thanks for the info.

    I have this neat old jar from my Grandma, she had it on her table most of the time with syrup in it. I would like to know, what was it for originally and who used it for their product. Thanks again for your help.

    Man in Moon cup?

    This cup was given to me by my Grandfather when I was born in 1943. I have only seen one other, in an antique store, I bought it for $5.00. I know nothing else about it other than this. I hope someone on here can help me out. Thanks.

    Thanks for your help. My husband thought he was right about the bottle, but you know how family stories can get mixed up.

    I have this Fish shaped bottle that my husband got when his Aunt passed away many years ago. He says he remembers seeing it in her cabinet in about 1955. He thinks she told him it was Cod liver oil. We can't find any with a name on it, but I don't think its the one sometimes marked with a 1970...

    Hi; all I'm new to the site but glad I found it! My Brother in Law passed away last year he lived in the family home that was a farm in Indpls. The property has been in the family since 1889 and was one of the oldest houses in Indpls. We had to close the estate and found many interesting items...
