Surface found Flask
I would say post civil war era for sure. Interesting top. Does not appear to have any pontil markings on the bottom. Real nice find!- mrkeith49

Half Pint Blob top whiskey?
Where was it acquired? It could be a SC dispensary jojo as well. Are there any maker marks? Definately blown in mold.- mrkeith49

Well I picked it up along with many a broken applied lip tops (mostly flasks) that day. It was nice to see something whole! Have to take the bad with the good I guess.- mrkeith49

Hi Red...Many years ago I worked in a Mould shop making the A/B beer bottle molds as well as others. We did all the machining and sold them to to Foster Forbes and others that I can't remember. I do know at that time the patternmaker (correct name?) was a real work of art creating the embossed...- mrkeith49

SC Dispensary....I can't find enough of these guys....
Thanks. This is one of the 1/2 pint 'jojo's. They are the most common. I saw an amber union quart on ebay bid over 7K and did not meet the reserve.- mrkeith49
