    Cobalt blue Key West med

They do? Being from Florida, I'm familiar with this one, and there are plenty more to be had. I think some are embossed W.T. & Co. on the base?

Is there a name for this type of pontil/mark?

I tend to call these 'tubular' pontils...

    Reproduction USA Med Dept?

The bottle looks to be an apothecary bottle, probably newer than 1900 in my opinion. It's that 'flatness' look I've seen in repro bottles from India (in the top of the lip, and/or on the base with the mold line hugging awfully close), that sport applied tops and/or tooled lips.

    Pepsi -Carnivalized!

Alright, haven't been on here since forever, but been actively finding some really great stuff! I'm mostly in the pontil area of things, so this is the only post-1900 item I've bought since the beginning years of collecting. Here's something that has me stumped; a Pepsi-Cola bottle that is...

    St. Louis area digging!

Hit me up. Town from the 1700s and heavy industry, there's tons to be found.

    Hutch embossing error- found!

I'll get a better pic later today, didn't notice a backwards N. The Botting embossing wasn't noticed by my friends, who still didn't give even two craps about it. : )

    U.S.TEL.CO., Hemingray

If you have a lavender one, I'll purchase it from you. Ya made mention its going to the yardsale.

Help with identifying civil war trash pit survivor!

That's a nice one! Usually, I only see flasks made by them, and jars. Superb find!

    Hutch embossing error- found!

Here's an unusual find, and where it was. Just moved to St. Louis, so I'm starting to look in dug holes in construction. This hole is near the railroad, just west of downtown. It did all the nasty rain and flooding, too. Well, I can see plenty of threaded glass 30's junk broken, but saw a blob...

    Historical geometric flask find!

I find that there are times to do this, and times not to. It most likely was originally bought via an auction parcel, so it's provenance was probably lost, and pricing and description suggests they had no idea what it was anyways. To bring up this bottle to the seller, may cause hard feelings...

    insulators for sale

Otis patents, but no hardware attached. In my book, considering the damage, if you got $20, ya did swell.

    Post your jewels!

The olive Hemi 40 is one of my favorites. It's such a regal shape, and the Hemingray examples have a slight mark of perfection compared to Brookfield's. The olive tones just make them even more appealing!

E.D. Meyer cobalt blue Augusta geo. soda pontil

Check out the user's posts. There are only 5, and only about his bottle. It looks to be in pretty rough shape, with bad staining and some deep scratches. Still, a great bottle!

    Historical geometric flask find!

You keep saying this. It just feels you're trying to discredit this example, or do you have a personal vendetta upon the GVIII-2? This flask has been in the hands of many collectors since it was acquired, and not one suspicion it was a reproduction. Turned down two offers for it now. I've...
