Anybody Recognize This Bottle?

Coca Cola introduced larger sizes (10oz, 12oz, & 26oz) in 1955. They were all fully embossed except the 26oz which was painted and embossed.

Pepsi Bottle 1956?

This may have been discussed earlier, but the US 50's PC bottles had PEPSI-COLA on the shoulder design written from the bottom up and the Canadian bottles were written from the top down.

Unusual Nehi ACL

Another rare one market bottle is the 12oz totally embossed Nehi. It was the first 12oz just before they switched to painted labels.

Safety-Thirst pepsi-cola bottling co chattanooga tenn

It looks like the same bottle Chattanooga Glass used for several bottler's flavors from 1940-1942 in East Texas. The giveaway is the paint which is not baked on and can flake off if you are not careful. This includes several from Nacogdoches Coca Cola: Pinecrest (1940), 3 color Stone Fort...

New to the forum

There are some highly collectible ACL's from my East Texas area that are not pyroglazed. They are dated 1940, 41, and 42 and were made by Chattanooga Glass. The paint is very delicate and will wash off over time. Any thoughts?

I also am leaning toward tie 1977 date, they changed the logo to a bar with small oval around 1985.

Altered Coca-Cola bottle

Wilmore. KY is not listed in Porters Book, so this is an unknown Coca Cola bottle. At least the one with the script is and considered valuable, even damaged. The other might also be one since you can make out the Coca Cola through the removal.

WW2 Military Cokes..who's the expert ?

Yes, too hard to find another one and I have a shop selling vintage soda collectibles. I also enjoy sharing and showing items of historical significance.
