Boar Hunt Pot Lid Help!
Upon further research, I have not been able to find any evidence that this pot lid is not an earlier, more valuable version. If there is a way to prove this one way or the other, I would appreciate knowing, otherwise any opinion on the age of the pot lid is just that--an opinion.- NUBPots

OK, I couldn't stand not knowing and finally removed the backing. I was very relieved not to find the holes at 12:00. The lid back is quite dirty (could be a good sign) and has a 3 cm. chip on the back flange at 7:00. There don't appear to be any other major flaws however there are two...- NUBPots
