hi all, what kind of camera do you use to get close up pictures of you bottles, i would love to share some of my bottles with the forums, I also do some ebay items and am in need of getting clear close ups, I need a good fairly inexpensive starter camera. many thanks.

N.Y. milk bottle

thanks DD, you gave me the thought, wow its been 20-30 years since i been to a bottle show, I am nearing retirement soon and plan to get out the ol potato hook and metal detector, hey maybe i can dig up a Swales milk bottle.

thank you all, and Jim you hit my question a special thanks, I remember my Dad pulling the bottles out of his box all pretty pink, not that very dark fake purple, I have bottles that have been in window sills some 40 years, they have turned but no wheres near that shade of purple, I will have to...

Watertown N.Y. Bottles

I love Watertown, did a lot of camping at Westcott Beach State Park, I dug back in the 1970s and found a snake oil bottle with a very deformed lip, its pontil blown and says Watertown N.Y. its clear and about 5" tall, I still have it somewhere around here, if i can figure how to take photo and...
