I love geocaching. Have found close to 200 so far and also placed a few. The best part is combing 2 thing i enjoy doing now. I geocache and look for potential bottle digging spots. So far found 2 spots going to explore one a bit more this weekend
Thanks for the reply there are a couple places i want to check out and when the weather is not so bad and no snow and unfrozen grounds ia m going to start digging a couple places.
so if i find an Old abandoned house i should just go dig there??? Or is it best to attempt to find out the owner of the place and if so how would i go about that. I am in Canada so may be different from USA
Was out and about this weekend and bought myself a couple decanters. Now i do not know anything really bout them other then what i may fill them with :-)

First one is a Brown and the stopper has a cork and I believe it is a wine...
Now I am curious if you were to get a backpack ready for going bottle hunting what are the tools etc you would put in that backpack. Or maybe some pics of how you travel to the dump spot with your stuff. Thanks.

Well never got out to do any digging as we are getting snow today here in ontario as well. Did however hit a Junk store as i call it and bought a couple neat looking t hings and a nice heavy decanter for 2.50 can not go wrong with a nice decanter now time to filler up.
Well if it ends up being a nice weekend I may hit the woods and take my son and go searching for some spot to dig. If not there is an auction tomorrow so lets hope for some good Ontario warm weather tomorrow(or sunday)

I got a load of insulators now i bought about 50 for 20 bucks and now i look along the tracks 2 min walk east of me and will check the old tracks bout 5 min walk west of me
I live near an old steam train yard they use the track to this day with a steam train as a tourist attraction. I was curious if it would be worth it to walk the tracks as they are not used alot till summer. I was going to walk them and look over the sides and see if i can find some promising...
