    There are some letters above the "O C" and a number between them. Maybe they are marks of the glass maker.

    It was found in Paraguay, South America. By the 19th century glass houses were rare. In Argentina the first start in 1882 and it was the only one in the country untill late 19th century. Before that all bottles were imported from Europe and from the States also.

    Well, in some cases it does. When I tryed on the older cans it remove the paint completely. But with newers ones it doesn´t.

    candy bottle?

    Could it be a candy bottle? This is a clear glass 4 1/4 inches long bottle with a scew finish in rear. There´s nothing embossed on it.

    Last week I went to a dump with my shovel in search of bottles. No one bottle but these three items I found in the same place. I´m not sure of what is the pipe. I think it´s an insulating pipe for electricity

    . I think instead it's probably a South American glassmaker, it would have been an odd business decision to ship bottles all the way from the US to Patagonia when there were manufacturers located closer to home. That´s right the most. Thank Canadian for all this information.
