    Old time Diggers

    I've had some oldtimers, most of which have past on now tell me they used to shoot bottles in dumps with sling-shots when they was kids.[:(] And they used old clay marbles as ammo!

    I'd say beer of some kind & it is tooled top, I've dug the same in the past in 1910 to 1925 era dumps.

    GuntherHess, your house dates to about 1790. You should be able to find multiple privy's on your property. Grid the last 10' of your lot and probe your ass off.[:D] You may have to whip out the 6 or 7 foot probes to get down past the years of development at your house. I guess I should ask if...
