I'm sure my descriptions will be misleading, so i am attaching a photo of each bottom. The wierd "6" is a ball Ideal and the "d" is a Safe Seal" thanks.- rosanna

What are Safe Seal Jars?
A search in this forum and on Google has netting no information on Safe Seal jars. I have 3, all aqua, but different. One is a tall half gallon with a bail top, #4 on bottom, patent 7/14/1906. This jar is a deeper blue/aqua than my others. I can't figure out what the number on the bottom means, or if it is a number. The top with concentric circles is also unusual.- rosanna
