    Rizzo Wilmington De Wanted

Hi, I am still interested in any rizzo examples. Hutch, crown or acl. Its for a descendant of the bottler if that tugs on your heartstrings at all. Any hope? Thanks, Ray 302 757 6423 landeninc@aol.com

    Stone jar?

Re: RE: Stone jar? A fellow member identified this old jar as likely a 'William Hare' from Wilmington example. Its unmarked but a pretty close match! Thanks Jake http://www.academia.edu/3...e_William_Hare_Example

Hello all! Went to review an old thread posted a few years ago but it seems to have disappeared. Is there an archive section here I'm missing? Thanks,Ray

    Should I jump the Fence?

Bet you would do fine by walking in and talking to the guys if it looks like they are kind of standing around. I always ask permission to dumpster dive at construction sites and it frequently leads to more stuff later. Just be honest with them. Bet they will let you poke around some if you...

    Backyard Dig

Gave some embossed milks to a friend at a dairy farm. Traded an eleventh ward blob to a local member for these...i think he may have been a little too generous. Local blob and an onion. Thanks Jake! Hope to find another hole or two in the backyard.

Cleaned up a few that I kept.

    Backyard Dig

Detector was no help...way too much iron and other metal trash. We did give it a pretty thorough scratching through.

    Backyard Dig

Yeah, the clorox and ketchup hole...

    Backyard Dig

Quite a few acl milks. Only two embossed. The blob shown turned out to be a citrate. Found a few locals not shown. All in all a nice backyard dig.

    Backyard Dig

Never did figure out why everything seemed so jumbled up. Found the remains of barrel hoops on the edges though. The hole only went down a little more than six feet. Pulled out another 'Foord' squat. One for me and one for philajdh.

    Backyard Dig

Rain finally stopped so we could finish up. Exceptional weather today.

    Backyard Dig

We are guessing at least as old as the coin (1799). We will keep digging if the rain ever stops.

How old is your house or what year was it built? LEON. House dates to mid to late 17's.

    Backyard Dig

No walls have been found so we will be expanding the hole when the rain quits. Will add more photos as they come along. Any thoughts would appreciated!
