any ideas on this bottle?

How would I tell pewter from siver?Its definately metal.And how would metal be applied to glass unless when the glass and metal both were hot?Also the little ring on the neck metal.

any ideas on this bottle?

HEH,HEH he did get me, this bottles driving me nuts I guess.Anyway heres a better pic.I hope.Im new to bottles,posting pics, and your practical jokes as well. Ive got this posted in the "FAKES" as well just to be sure.

OK I guess I deserve that, its a crappy pic, but if you could really see it youde see its not a bad fake.The image on the bottle as well as the metal on the cap is pewter and is fairly old itself if it was added later.But thanks, I guess.

Hey Folks I have no info on this strange bottle.I also am no good at uploading pics.I think that if you click on the attachment itself the pic will come up.At least it does for me.I dont know what Im doing wrong.When my son comes over, He`ll show me whats wrong(smiles)

New and need help

Hey everybody, great website.Ive already learned alot.Heres a strange bottle, can anyone help me out?My pic was a little too big and wouldnt load so here goes:Its 10 1/2 inches tall, 3 1/4 wide at the base.Amber in color but glass on base is clear.No markings at all.Mould seams stop at the lip...
