Went out digging first time this yr and found a broken bowl but nothing great. No whole bottles or anything but did locate a new dump that hasnt been touched yet. Heres the bowl.
One thing that always sucked about early birds was you say the garage sale is 9:00 and you got people buying stuff at 8:00. Ive given up on garage sales. You never find anything good anymore and if you do the price is way to high. Another thing that sucks is most garage sales selling antiques...
Ive always wanted to find a few gold nuggets. Im a long ways away from CA too. Im scared to fly and cant afford a road trip with these gas prices. So I guess Ill just have to wait till a democrat is president. Whenever thatll be????
LOL. This was something brought up in another group I go on. I guess these diseases stay alive along time. I try not to think about the dangers. I just take precaution in what Im doing. I dont wanna think about the possibles and be a worry wart. Theres risk in everything we do.
I have a question has anyone ever gotten sick from digging in the dumps? I heard diseases like syphilis and tuberculosis stay alive for a long time. I personally havent gotten sick from digging.
Yeah its a candy container (victory lines). I still got 2 open shelves too. Im hoping to find some good stuff this year to fill it. I found a spot a few years ago that has pottery fragments everywhere. Im gonna go this year and see if I can put some together if not Ill put em in heartbreakers...
I changed my mind Im not going to sell any of these. I will put some of these in an auction for the site in the future though. I found an antique store that is willing to give me a little cash for some of these bottles.
