Haha ya, the exchange is terrible for us Canadians buying in US $ . I didn't think it was all that old. In fact it's dated on the bottom...1956 I think. I liked the embossing on it and figured what the hell.

Thatchers...Any good?

Let me start by saying I paid 30cents canadian for this bottle. I don't know much about dairy bottles. The glass is uneven and seems rather crude. Read up on Thatchers online. Still don't know much. Any info/comments would be great. Was it worth my .30? LoL

The Amber is about 8 inches and the clear a bit smaller. Twc co. It's not the original stopper in the clear. It wasn't with me when I took these shots

New stoneware ginger beer

Thanks! Is there anything I should be looking for when I come across stoneware? I've never paid it much attention but I always come across so much of it. I guess my lack of knowledge keeps me from wanting to part with good money

Codd ball stopper

Do you mind if I ask how much the antique shop was asking for it. I paired this with some other items. I paid about $12USD for it.

This was found in Ontario. We also have a York and Scarborough. Well York being the name original name of Toronto.
