If I were you I wouldn’t get rid of it as it’s your first bottle, but if you really are gonna get rid of it I think you should at least finish it off yourself. Take a sip and tell us how it is!
Definitely leave the liquid inside, those types of bottles are really common because everyone thought they would be valuable someday, however having it full adds a lot of value to it and at least from my point of view I would pay a lot more for an unopened vintage bottle than an empty one
those aren’t rocks that is actually rust so I would recommend just leaving it as is if you want to keep the lid on, I’ve messed with jars like that that still have the kids and when I try to remove anything it just takes part of the lid off
One thing that I like most about my bottle dump is that (despite it being mostly 20s-40s) there is such a large variety of bottles. These are all the different kinds of milk glass that I have found over the years, and there many more that I’ve left behind because there’s just so much milk glass...
