Mt. Hood Soda Water??? Help

Hello! I've posted this in another section at this website. I'm new and I just discovered this section! I have a bottle that I found at a garage sale and it stands about 8" tall and has a 8-sided Mug base. I got a little info about this item from a couple people. But, I am having a hard time...

How old is this??

Hi Gary! No...I did not dig this myself. I got it from my Mom to help me start my collection. I have never been out digging for bottles. But, after reading all the posts here, it sounds like fun! I wouldn't know where to start or go though. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the info and pictures!!! I appreciate it. I went to the library today and spent some time looking at bottle books. I'm looking for info on a Mt. Hood Soda Water bottle. I couldn't find anything at the library. I guess not everything is listed.

I'm going to the library today to see if I can find some books. But, I was wondering if anyone could give me some info about this bottle? I'm still trying to grasp the whole bottom of the bottle. There seems to be so many factors in what makes a bottle valuable. What about this one?

Hello Everyone! I've been hearing a lot of things about pontil. I have a Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup bottle and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify wether or not it's a pontil bottle. Thanks!

What does this mean?

Thanks! Is something like this worthless, since I don't have anyway to tell who made it? It was for sale at an estate sale I went to. They had an old barn full of neat things. This was marked at 30.00, but I was able to get it for 5.00. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I stayed up...
