    Small white pottery jar.

    Does anyone know how old this little jar is? I don't see any markings on it at all. I found it in the dirt, and it is about 2" in diameter and about 2¼" tall. It does have a swirled bottom. Thanks, AO

    More excavation stumbles

    I found this group of guys in the dirt piles; I don't know what the center on is though. It has no markings on the bottom or sides, and a rubber cork in the bottom. The Trasks ointment has a stopper in it too. Here is a shot of the clear bottle; and a shot of the ointment bottle...

    Small bottle,with a circled 1 on its' collar

    I found this on at an excavation site, is it a med bottle? It is about 2" tall with nothing in the base.

    What that means to me is that I live at 709 5th Ave. and I know where that buiilding is/was. I will was to go to the public library and hit the reference room. Are bottles like this worth anything even when they are scratced up?
