    Wilkinson bottles wanted

I've asked here before but it's been a few years. I collect any bottle embossed WILKINSON. There are a lot out there believe it or not. Most are English but I have some meds and dairy bottles that are from the U.S. There is also a medicine shaped bottle that is embossed Wilkinson Mineral...

    bottle value

There are 4 variants of the Hennessy bottle on www.hutchbook.com. Yours could be a blob top but I'm guessing its a Hutchinson. It doesn't list values though.

    G. H. Wilkinson blob top

Here is my most recent addition. It is a beer bottle from Kearney, New Jersey. I can't find any information on it and I was told that its scarce. Has anyone seen one before? Any information on it or the brewery? It is an orange amber and the embossing reads: W. T. WILKINSON / KEARNEY /...

The largest bottle club in the USA isnt represented at shows!

Matt, I just purchased your book, just a second a go. The last thing I had from you was your 2008 price guide on cd. You did a good job on that, I just wish it had photos. Your book looks good from the few page I saw. What does the cover look like? Color? What kind of binding? Doesn't...

    Smith & Kline Jamaica Ginger

Hi Jason, I still post occasionally, I'm just not active on here anymore. I used to use the forum at work all the time but I think my IP address was blocked by admin when I got into it with one of the "untouchables" on here. Right now I'm on my IPhone and it's kind of a pain to type on this...

    Smith & Kline Jamaica Ginger

Thank you guys for the replies. I'm thinking I found a good one. Atleast "scarce". Conch, I have not seen the one you mentioned before either, "Jaques".............. I would like to see a photo of it if you wouldn't mind posting one. Isn't "Jaques" french for Jake? A Jake "Jake".....[:D]

    Smith & Kline Jamaica Ginger

I purchased a new "eastern" jake for my collection today. It's the typical size and shape but this is one I have never heard of before. I know from "google books" that it was a company in business in the early 1880's. What I want to know is if anyone else has seen this particular one and what...

    Your crudest bottles

Here is "my" crudest bottle. A beautifully ugly whiskey flask. I posted this here on the forum several years ago when I first got it. This was found in an antique store in Northern California.

    Hostetters or Schnerr's wild cherry?

THANK YOU! I'm glad that you agree, I was really astonished at the outcome of this auction, before there were any bidders I contacted the seller and told him I didn't think his bottle was worth much (I did wish him luck though). He rubbed it in after it sold for so much!

    WHITING'S Drug Store. OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA

I have the book "California Embossed Drug Store / Pharmacy Bottles and Dose Glasses" by Edrick J. Miller. Miller uses a rating system to determine rarity. 1 being "common" and 5 being extremely rare. Yours is listed as common. I see bottles like these go at local bottle shows for 5 to 10...

Thanks, not to worried about the color, I just haven't seen too many with my name and I get excited every time I see a new one. That one is new for me. If you do still have it and are willing to sell, great! If not, no worrries, keep me in mind if you come across any others. I've found a...

    Beware of unusual colors

I think it's a good idea for crafts, however, I can see "crafty" people trying to turn some common bottles into rarity's and selling them on eBay.
