I haven't posted this in a while, but I'll throw it out there again. I'm especially interested in any bottles from Georgiana and Greenville, AL. I have Barq's and Dr Pepper from Georgiana. I know a Lime Cola also exists but I don't have it. Also, possibly Fulford Beverages? Not sure of others.

For Greenville, I have W.M. Dunn and a Cola-Nip. I've seen a Butler County Bottling Wks from Greenville, but I don't have it. I heard there was a Gay-Ola. Not sure of others.

If anyone has any bottles from either city and wants to part with them, let me know. Thanks!!

Hope you find what you are looking for wonkapete. I have a lime cola from Clanton, Alabama, but that's quite a few miles from Greenville and Georgiana.

I knew there was Lime Cola plant in Greenville, AL back in the '40s, but never seen a Lime Cola marked 'Greenville' in my 25 yrs of collecting. I've ran ads in the the papers for years and even put up flyers in the town, but no luck. About 6 months ago, I learned that the gentleman that owned the plant in the '40s was still alive. I called and had a friendly chat with him (yep, he's in his 90s now!). I asked him if their bottles were ever marked or if they just used stock bottles. He said he was pretty sure they were stock bottles, but he couldn't remember a whole lot about the operation because that was over 60 yrs ago! So, I concluded there was no such 'Greenville' bottle and took that one off my 'top 5 bottles I gotta have' list.

Well, this beauty showed up on Ebay last week! Man, oh man, it's an attic beauty!! Out of my 20,000+ bottles, I put this one in my 'top 5' ACLs. It's just a beauty and I consider rare, rare, rare!

Jerry, that's definitely a good one. I've always liked this style bottle and have found them from Talladega & Lineville, but never my home town (Sylacauga, Ala.). I know we had the older embossed 'drum' style, but so far I haven't been able to find out if there was ever a 'target' bottle.

(Also, I found an '59 Andalusia GRAPICO. If you dont have one, I'll send it to you.)

There is a Fulford Beverages ACL bottle out there with this label. I have seen one with a ghost label. There has got to be one with a good label somewhere. Anyone?

You are correct Wonkapete about the Lime Cola from Greenvillve. I have had a unopened, full bottle for about 60 years. The top rusted through many years ago with just syrup remaining inside. My grandfather had a country store in Rutledge Alabama for ages and one day there with my dad, he saw the Lime Cola bottle and i saw him grab one as a keepsake back in the 60's. He said it was from a local bottling company.

Please let me know if you are still interested in acquiring one.
