Yesterday my buddy James and I got permission to hit a 100+ year old barn. The owners were trying to rid themselves of everything in the barn so they could restore it and had no personal attachment to anything so they said take whatever you want. We climbed upstairs and to our surprise, there were hundreds of bottles and a few crates. We sorted through the bottles, most being junk slicks and very very common embossed beers from Toledo and Detroit, but I was extremely excited to see the pre-prohibition crates and the nearly complete orange crush crate with matching bottles from the same bottling works, the crate being from the same as well. I honestly have no idea what the toledo ones are worth. If anyone has any idea let me know! The crates have the original lids and dividers as well, a huge bonus to condition.
