I've never found a hotel room key before but know some of the hotels here did use metal keys so you never know

any ideas on age , often detailed info on old hotels available in terms of the years they operated as you have its name and town
Non idea on age but the resort has been there since 1845 and still exists today!its built on a natutal spring and they bottled pluto water from there something in the water was stomach issue cures from what I've read havent found am example ofitbyat on the INTERNET

French Lick Resort
In 1845, Dr. William Bowles, a physician from nearby Paoli, Indiana, built a three-story wooden framed hotel he named French Lick Springs Hotel. Bowles used his knowledge as a physician to explore the healing properties of the abundant mineral springs in this area
