I assume the Plutos has the little Devil on the Bottom. I've found them here in Michigan also, they get around. LEON.

I have found pieces of Plutos before but never complete. I read somewhere that Pluto bottles (at least in my area) were made from a very inferior and fragile type of glass even for their time. So to find one complete and undamaged is probably very rare and might make it fairly valuable to collectors. I remember seeing the little devil embosed on the pieces I found.
When I found my first broken Pluto water I never heard of it before and assumed it was some type of Plutonium-enfused miracle cure marketed in the 20's back when people thought radiation was good for you. Needless to say I'm glad that turned out not to be the case.

Found an intact aqua Pluto when working at the Cane River Creole National Historical Park in Natchez, LA in 1999. We were digging footing holes preparatory to rebuilding brick piers that supported the "Doctor's Barn" on the old plantation.
John Wayne walks through the front gate of the plantation in "The Horse Soldiers" movie. The fence was authentic, but Wayne was not satisfied with appearance of the 1959 wire gate, so the picket gate in the movie is a prop. Exterior shot is actual Oakland Plantation, but interiors are Hollywood sets.
The beds of the little flower garden between gate and porch are bordered with mostly antique bottles, though later ones were added as replacements for ones broken. Thus, according to the National Park Service, the bottles span 200 years of production.

Thank you so much, everyone! Here are some better pictures. This morning I’m going back to the place I found them to search for more… Wish me luck because I’ll need to crawl further under a cave-like area I found & it’s really going to challenge my arachnophobia. Worth it, hopefully!

I thought the same thing; I was almost certain that it was something terrible for people back in the day. I also learned to be more specific in my history research from this- lots of Disney Pluto bottles out there

The light green one isn't embossed with the name like the other though. An older version?
Hang in there Rose, the undamaged ones will come. Pluto Waters can be good. The devil sells.
