Canadacan, take a look at the side panel of the crate. Right above the word Beverages is the date stamp. It is 11/47.
So I would guess this means the double dot was around Canada in 1947.
These are my two 7oz Kist Bottles.
Here is my 7oz Wishing Well.
This has a design variance in that it has colour.
Here are a few pics of my double dot Pepsi Bottle. I have dozens of Pepsi bottles but this is my only double dot.
Date is 1951
Bottled in Montreal
Note the dot above the top Pepsi logo....
I was mistaken that my double dot Pepsi Crate had a date. However it's super cool non the less. It was given to me by an old Pepsi driver who worked at Kitchener Beverages. He wouldn't take...
I have a double dot 10oz Pepsi dated 1951. But I also have a double dot Pepsi 24 bottle crate from Kitchener Beverages, my local Ontario Pepsi Bottler. There is a date stamped on the inside. I'll...
I have some Canada Dry Wink NDNR bottles and they are stubby with a paper label. Wouldn't surprise me if the Canada Dry Ginger Ale was the same.
The Canadian Centenial graphic is fantstic!...

Those crates you bought are fantastic.
Absolutely love the Orange Crush.
The fact there are so many different is amazing.
You were forced to buy them at $5 each!
I was going through some old bottles I have in cases stowed away and came across this Canada Dry Tonic Water. So I pulled it out and put on a shelf. What I like the most about it is the gold foil...
I love that carton and NDNR bottles.
Really nice pick up!

I can't believe how excited I get when I get new stuff.

Raypadua, here are some of my favourite pop crates.
POP -O and Hamilton Beverages I like cause they are so old.
The one short sided Coca Cola is an 8 pk carrier.
Others I like because of...

RCO, here is a Jocko can I found while fishing about 25 yrs ago. It was in a bunch of litter under a tree off a logging road near Chapleau in Northern Ontario.
Different design but likely the same...

Raypadua, I will have to dig to find individual pics of crates. I tend to like collecting the local companies to my area in southern Ontario. Reinhart, Wilson, Moran, Adanac Beverages, Woodlond,...

I was told linseed oil is good to highlight details to preserve.
I tried it on an old 7-Up case but it was very dark and in my opinion ruined the case.
I blow out dirt and debris using my...
That bottle has a great look. Nice find.
I see that mark on bottom of bottles from time to time in Canada. What company is this?
I would like to know about those numbers too.
I love the large 7Up and Kickapoo! Great finds.

Raypadua, I never really made these a focus for collecting but over the years have managed to gather quite a few. I have a couple hundred from a bunch of flavours. I found that the one dollar...

That's a great bottle.
I don't think I've seen one of that design before.
Thanks for sharing.
If memory serves me right, there is also a Vernor's bottled in Sarnia Ontario as well.
I don't have one but have seen another town other than WIndsor at some point.
That 28oz bottle is beautiful.
I've been keeping my eye open for one of those too.
Very nice find!
I recently picked up this group of 6oz - 170 ml paper label bottles.
I already had the Pure Spring.
I love the graphics on the 7-Up.
A little clean up and they will look good on on display....
I like the caps too.
Your Niagara Dry is a nice bottle.
Dr Pepper too.
