Hi everyone,
It's been a long time (over three years) since I've gone out bottle digging but I was finally able to dig the old dump this past weekend. I've been in this spot for nearly 7 years, and most of the items have been 1930-50s; however, I've gotten into an older, TOC layer. Only thing...
Hey all! I can honestly say it's been way too long since I've gone digging...about three years for me. Before I head back to college, I wanted to at least revisit my old dump site and see, after all these years, if any new bottles would turn up. So I called up a friend and we ventured out in the...
Hey all, I have had a long passion to dig privies. So far, I've just dug dumps. In the area I live, there is unforeseen potential for privy digging. I have the tools necessary to dig, but I don't have much experience doing this. I think the best way for me to advance in this hobby is to observe...

Many of you might know already, but there was a shooting at the Navy Yard in DC this morning. So far, the press has released that 12 people were killed in this horrible event. Let's pray for the victims and their families. It is so saddening that we see these things occur way too often...
Case gins were used in the early-mid 1800s, mainly around the 1830s-50s, but give or take a few decades either way. Rarity? I've seen many plain case gins at shows going for $40-$50 and they were dark green or amber. I don't know about citron, but dark greens and ambers of what I've seen are a...
