I just went to archive.org and searched for "o-so grape" (not "soda"), with the quotes. Choose "text contents" when searching not "metadata." Then filter for "English" at the bottom of the sidebar. Lots of things came up, mags, news, ads, company info from the 50s and 60s. If I had the time, I'd...

Wanted Dominion Soda Water from Dundas

Fantastic, thanks for posting this! I had just discovered Dominion Glass as someone mentioned the D on the bottom of the Dominion bottle, but I can't find Chappell St. Will check out facebook. Thanks.

Cool bottle. Do you know where in Hamilton they made these bottles? The Dominion Co was located on John St but that was just a house.

Manufacturing bottles as a 'cottage' industry ca 1910-1920s

Yes it is in the tax assessments, but just the company name, for a regular house. So ya, a mystery. I saw that someone here had posted that they were looking for a Dundas bottle, so I'm hoping someone out there knows something. He said they were "machine made only in pints and quarts." Not sure...

None the less, there it is. There are bottles with Hamilton and Dundas embossed on them so they were doing it for sure. And doesn't make sense to have people only fill bottles at home. The bottles are machine made not blown. It is interesting.
