the red one is likely a Clevenger Bros camphor jug without a handle. If I need to back up my comment..."bozo" opinion..., I can provide a picture of same from a Clevenger catalog.

Amber Dr Fisches Bitter Bottle Help

It's obviously a machine made bottle , looking at the base. It's obviously made by Fairmont Glass ...."F" I "guess" the 1898 on this example, instead of the other series of numbers may have something do with its capacity/size , when made, (but not in the year 1898)... mold number ??? It...

Any help with these color glass bottles?

Hard for me to tell from your pix and there isn't any info available about whether they were, other than what you noted. Look at the base and it may be easy to tell if they are indeed clear. Otherwise, take a sharp object and see if you can scratch the color off (inside & out)...do it in a not...

Any help with these color glass bottles?

Trangert..welcome to the Forum !! You mean DAR don't you...Daughters of The American Revolution ? If so...they are recent vintage commemorative type bottles/flasks made primarily for gift shops. Seems they do have SAR on the base...oops....SONS OF the American Revolution.[:o]...

CYB...contact Roger...probably a glitch. Woody and I can't remove stuff like that and wouldn't if we could. I can remove and replace my own. Look and see if you didn't turn yours off somehow. It's an avatar in my set-up.

    firecracker

Jeff...actually these flasks aren't all that often seen. I bought a boxful (10 or so), from a guy back in the late 80s who was set up at a roadside stand. A few others I have bought off of eBay, but I can't recall seeing any at the bottle shows I used to attend.

    fluted flask authenticity

sloughduck...I haven't seen that many Larsons so not really qualified to comment from just a picture, but they appear to be Larson flasks, and on a par with Stiegel as to quality. The vaseline flask looks like an MMA repro...Metropolitan Museum Of Art. They marked all their repros with an...
