    Champagne bottle Pontil?

Thanks for all the replies and help. As for the "vent bump", I have the bottle in hand and that area is smooth. I think it's a bubble in the glass. Whatever it is it sits on top of a conical bump. I don't know if this information helps at all.I've included a drawing which needless to say is not...

    Champagne bottle Pontil?

Thanks for the replies and information. They've been a big help for me. If this bottle does fall into the 1830-1860 range does that mean it was free blown? Paines celery compound question

Hi EveryoneI have a chance to buy an aqua Paine's celery compound bottle for $15. I would like to know if this is a good price. The amber ones are common in the U.S and I have bought a few of these variants for $5 and probably wouldn't pay more than that for one. I've read from an older post on...
