Get Me some Peanuts and Cracker Jack, Is this Jack?

You might be on to something. I see that Buster Brown had a large collar/cape as well. Still can't find anything about a bottle though.

I was going by the red collar/cape thing on his back. I will check on Buster Brown too. Thanks for the possibility.

Get Me some Peanuts and Cracker Jack, Is this Jack?

I purchased a large collection of depression glass, vases, dishes, etc. and found two small painted bottles. After a bit I realized they represented Sailor Jack and Bingo, the mascots for Cracker Jack popcorn. However, I have no idea who made it, age, or what they contained. Anyone here have...

    English Bottle, Any Information?

A friend dropped off an English bottle he recently picked up in his travels. He can't find out anything on the internet so was wondering if anyone here had some idea. It is embossed with "Ellis Ridehalgh, 45 Burnley Rd, Waterfoot

    Drewry’s Crystal Soda

The labels are in terrible shape. Is it better to remove them and expose the Mounties or are partial labels better? Also does anyone know anything about these Winnipeg bottles? I have seen quite a few of them but there isn’t much on the internet.

    I got a rock

I definitely is not a geode. It is solid granite and will not be hollow.

    Building a collection.

Thanks for the information. It is very difficult to find many bottles from Alberta that have any age to them. I had some Alberta Milk bottles in the past but currently I have just the one from Red Deer where I live now. I also have a couple druggist bottles from Red Deer but really am...

    Building a collection.

I would like to build a collection of Alberta soda bottles, preferably ginger beers, hutches, blob tops and older embossed bottles. What would those here recommend I try to find? I don’t usually see the older bottles available anywhere and don’t know much about Alberta companies.Any help would...

    I got a rock

Definitely granite. Definitely not an egg. I have owned segnosaur, titanosaur, hadrosaur, and raptor style eggs or partial eggs from South America, North America and China. They are totally different. Also owned or still own coprolites (dinosaur, turtle, crocodile, carnivore mammal). It is...

    Gravatating Stopper Soda

Weird thing is I don't remember where I got it from but I do know I definitely purchased it as I never had much luck finding my own. I bought two collections this summer but it wasn't in one of them. Before that, I had a few bottles I had picked up over the years at garage sales or while on...

    Gravatating Stopper Soda

I don't have many bottles yet as I am just starting out but I do have a Canadian gravitating stopper bottle. It is probably quite common but it is Richard Genge, Kingston, Ontario and has the same embossing on the bottom as shown in your photo.

    Rumming's - Nanaimo B.C.

That is why I am so happy to have such helpful people here on the forum. I really want to build up my collection but my only option to do so it through buying them and without the help of people here, I probably would overpay. I am trying to focus on Canadian soda bottles with the odd patent...

I tried sending messages to you directly but don't know if they worked. I am a senior and not the most technologically inclined.

    Rumming's - Nanaimo B.C.

Sure wish there was someone that was putting out some sort of recent price guide for Canadian bottles as going online as shown above gives so many different prices. I realize something is only worth what one will pay for it but having some sort of guide would certainly help people like me that...

This is the link to the $600 one I saw previously but on checking closer, it says Buy it Now price was $600 and it does say it sold but no where does it say what if sold for. https://picclick.com/WE-RUMMING-NANAIMO-BC-Riley-screw-closure-221307702230.html
