    Help dating Haig & Haig pinch bottle

    Found this beauty on Saturday. Bottom is stamped with: 31 Haig & Haig Ltd Edinburgh Scotland If my research is correct, this is pre-1954 when they started to move away from Edinburgh. Can anyone help to pinpoint a more specific date? Does the “31” mean anything?

    My friend thinks this may be a large and unusual stopper of some kind, but I’m thinking it’s more like a perfume bottle. There is a number (5) embossed on what I believe is the bottom.
