Brown beer bottle with WAS on the bottom.
Among all the bottles I found is a brown beer bottle with large WAS letter embossed on the bottom. I do not believe it is particularly old, but I was curious what WAS means.- shunyadragon

Old Rum Bottle find pre1700?
This bottle was found in the tidal flat of the sound west of Jockey's Ridge in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I was mapping wetlands as a Soil Scientist/Geologist. It had oyster shells growing on it. No marks, irregular shape with no mold marks, concave bottom likely hand blown.- shunyadragon

I am new to the forum and just collect bottles during my work on farm buildings, fences, and green houses. This is the first stumper I have found.
