wavey,Between the two versions, yours is the most difficult to find, although neither are all that easy.Nice find! ~bottlingco

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

Hey MCgla's's,Let's s'tart a new rule. Everytime you write an 's, you have to u'se an apo'strophe to attach it to word's! If it 'stand's alone, you have to precede it with an apo'strophe. I'll 'say one thing I me's'sed up about 'six time's trying to type thi's! LOL!

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

The Spring Bank ACL is a fairly rare bottle. There is a green glass version, and I don't have the green one;I have a lot of nice traders with different pictures including some Indian bottles, so someone find me one.For that matter, I still need a Unicorn bottle from PA.~bottlingco

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

Did they fix their label after 1951? No, I think they went out of business! Is the brown version rare? Both the maroon and the brown are rare, but there is a brighter red version that is as common as house flies!~bottlingco

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

Okay, here is some more quirkiness! The bottle on the left is dated 1941The bottle on the right is dated 1950 Do you mean to tell me that in 9 years, no one, not even one person told them that you do not form the plural of beverage by adding an apostrophe? Nine years! Wow!

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

The one most visible does say 'Tay', but if you turn the bottle, it also says 'Ta','Tae', 'Te', 'Tea', 'Taa'. In other words anyway you could phonetically spell tea including putting a southern draw accent on it such as Tae! Mine is from Dallas and these are fairly rare, probably because it...

    Some of my favorite ACLs!

Notice the different phonetic spellings of the word "tay" around the lower part of the bottle! Such as "tae", etc. embossed into the glass. It is these quirky little things that make bottle collecting fun! ~bottlingco

New ACL's for me from Napier's Country Antiques..Choice of the Canadian Pickers!

Yes the 'From the Hat' is from Medicine Hat. It has an Indian Headdress on the front label. I am going to attempt a picture. Wish me luck! LOL! You mentioned a Heep Good from the U.S. I have several versions of Heep Good bottles, but there are many versions that I don't have...

New ACL's for me from Napier's Country Antiques..Choice of the Canadian Pickers!

There are some nice Canadian ACL's pictured on this post. I mainly collect picture ACL's from the U.S., but Canada has some really outstanding picture labels. I have acquired and kept several from Canada because it is hard to resist a beautiful label. I like all picture labels but really like...

Oldest ACL Royal Crown Cola Bottle?

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to add a photo of my 1937 with the embossed pyramid on the neck. I just do not have the time to fool around half a day trying to get pictures to upload to this site. Until I get help with it, I give up!~bottlingco

Oldest ACL Royal Crown Cola Bottle?

lblackvelvet,The ones that have "copyright 1936" on the ACL are not actually 1936. That means the label design was copyrighted in that year. The date of the bottle is most likely to be embossed into the glass on the bottom of the bottle. Your oldest one is the trapezoid embossed on the neck...

Oldest ACL Royal Crown Cola Bottle?

I have an aqua one with the embossed full pyramid on the shoulder. 1937. The full pyramid is harder to find than the embossed trapezoid version. ~bottlingco
