Still looking for unembossed or base embossed 1/2 pint seam-sides in odd colors to add to my run. Looking especially for clear, olive, shades of puce, and shades of blue. Willing to pay top dollar for top examples. Thanks
Found this site that has the entire section of McKearin's book with all of the flask designations. This is a great reference site for anyone not owning the book, but the book has so much more to offer in the way of the history of the glasshouses though.
Flasks
Picked this bitters up a while back and have found very little info on it. I guess it's listed as rare in Ring & Ham, which is nice I guess. I love the embossing on it, especially the slugged PHILADELPHIA. There's a similar one listed as very rare embossed LANCASTER, but I like the slug...
Here's a run I've been putting together. I got hooked on the 1/2 pints. I'm looking for a flint, cornflower, and cobalt. I saw a cobalt one on sha.org, and I'm betting it would be a bit outside of my budget. A nice crude flint would be killer too.
Got a few decent ones here for ya'll. First one up is this SWEET med. It's a Lord's Opodeldoc with the guy throwing down his crutches and dancing. Must have been some good stuff. There's a little stuff in the bottom, but that'll clean out pretty easy. Otherwise perfect condition. $30 +...
A JSP with the controversial half-leaf "mold repair". Should be pretty affordable on a common and a nice example to add to your collection.
JSP
Holy Cow! Just noticed their shipping cost! $42.00 to Cali is slightly inflated. Maybe you can talk them down on that. Your still in...
My opinion is this is NOT right and a reproduction of some sort. It just doesn't look right.
1/2 pint cobalt eagle
Then there's this Urn/Cornucopia from the same guy, and it looks all wrong to me too.
Urn/Cornucopia
Finally, same seller again, is this complete ball faced lie of a...
Looks like a regular Hostetter's and Atwoods, but wait.....look closer.....The J is backwards on that Hostetter's, and the Atwoods, although still common, is a not as common earlier variant. All the looking I've done I can't find any info on the "backwards J" Hostetter's except for two posts on...
Here's a flask I recently picked up with the idea of reselling it. but I don't know if that's gonna happen now. It's got the typical Eastern seam side shape, but in a very untypical color, and super crude to boot. You can see in the pictures that it is super whittled, like a lot of these...
I listed some nice jars if anyones interested. A couple Australian Lightnings and a nice western Gravitating Stopper soda. I'll probably put a few more up tonight too.

Here's a few that we dug up out of the recent privy hole.
Nice blue 3 piece mold with applied lip. It came out bottom first and I coulda swore it was a soda, but it's a nice utility. The patina looks great, much better in person.
A nice colored blob soda and western seam side.
The...
I put a few up on eBay today. Mostly just some blacks and a couple nice Clevenger pieces. All were free listings, so I figured I'd take advantage. I have several more I was gonna list, but we only had a short widow with sun today to shoot some photos, and tomorrow I'll be digging ALL DAY[:D]...
Here's this weekends dig finds and some pics. Matt (tigue710) pulled a nice yellow Wolfe's and a few other meds out today too that I don't have pics of, hopefully he'll post some pics for ya.
This is a few weeks back, but I thought it was a funny pic with the cop in the back and all. We...
I thought it might go for $100 tops. Then it was at $180 yesterday and I was blown away. Now this is crazy. Anyone remember what that cobalt strapside went for a while back. I bet this comes close when all is said and done. Unembossed flasks of odd color seem to be going crazy right now...
This collection is RIDICULOUS!!! Looks like a lifetime collection for sure. I wonder if it will sell with an undisclosed reserve, but it definitely looks like a top shelf bunch.
Super Marbles
I'm listing some of my nicer stuff on ebay if anyones interested, along with a few mediocre pieces. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I hate to see them go, but finding work aint getting any easier and Christmas is right around the corner. Gotta make sacrifices for the little ones...
