    what to do with broken bottles??

    I found this Esslinger beer bottle and it had a circular crack in it. By the time i got it home it had a hole broken into it. After a while i came up with this idea to make a stand and plant a plant into it. Here are some pictures. Tell me what you think.

    battery oil bottles.

    Thank you about the Pennsylvania Bottling Company info. I knew the history of these bottles as far as the battery oil and how that worked. I just wasn't sure about these particular bottles. And upon further inspection, it does appear to be a LP in the keystone and not UP. I have only found two...

    Here is a picture of the Sauer's one. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Can anyone recommend any good books to get started on identifying bottles. Like a general all around bottle book that covers ACLs, Poisons, Medecines, Sodas, Beers, milks etc...
