    Appears to b dark amber. Has "0" on the base, saw the same on the bay, with the lip busted. seam stops 1 inch from lip. must b why i like the other one 'cuase of the whittle. Does no show great in the pic there. I would have been happy digging it, and can't beat finding for free!

    The building the came out of was rented as an antique store years ago, so I think that is where the bottles came from. Some had price tags on them half scratched off. Wonder what kind of price they tried on this repro...? (base of previous)

    Not the same as digging bottles out of the ground. Knowing no one has seen them for 100+ years... [;)] Still neat to look over in the dark corner of an 1800's building basement, and see... bottles! [:)] I have been selling slicks, other bottles at my friend's shop, filled with sweet pea...

    Mark Twain bottle?

    Don't know of what bearing this may, or may not have on the topic... But isn't Samuel Longhorn Clemons another name for Mark Twain? If i remember correctly? I think I read about him spending a bit of time in Maine, ( trying to make the connection to Dr.Neebin...)

    This spring i had pawed around in the rock embankment dump a bunch of times. With little to nothing to show. When u walk through the area it's like u never walk the same way back, many trees down. So i dont think i had found my way to this little corner. reverse base of blob..

    My sweet heart brought this home from a yard sale last summer. She got 2 of them for 5 bucks..[:)] I need to make some small stands for the round bottoms we have! Never thought about it... but SHE had started coming home w/ bottles before me!! [:)]
