    Small bottle question

    I know a picture would help but I am so tech difficient so I will do my best to describe it. 3" bottle found with small metal corkscrew looking device inside. The metal item was inside a thick white chalk like material. I will try to get a picture up next week. Thanks![:)]

    What is this????

    What in the world is this? I found this in a dump in backyard on the ridge. It is apx 4"x4" width and 1" thick. Crude hole drilled through center. Thank you for any help.

    I have a small dump site along a ridge behind my house and I date my finds from 1850-1920. I have found 3 insulators that say telephone and telegraph on it.
