My Lastest Addition.
I got this at my local antique store. It had a note attached to it that said it was found buried in the floor of an abandoned cabin in Kentucky in 1965. It says Victory around the lower body of the bottle. The base has a G with a K inside of it. Has anyone seen one like this before or have any...- katb

My newest addition.
I finally got a soda water bottle that I could afford. Been doing my happy dance since it came in the mail yesterday. I did some checking and I think this bottle dates back to 1848 to 1860. Is that right? I have done a lot of reading about bottles, but haven't seen that many old ones in person...- katb

Cool find!
Earlier this year i was walking around at the dump, looking in all the nooks and cranny's to see what i could find. A lot of the junk is not covered up you see. What kind of finish is this?
Has anyone seen a finish like this? I dug these two bottles at the old city dump. They look like they have a place for a cork and they have screw threads. I know there were some whiskey bottles that had a cork and cap that screwed on over the cork to be used as a shot glass, but i would think...- katb

Mini pop bottle??
What would a bottle like this have been used for? It has the o inside a square. Owens bottle co. No numbers on base. There are some #'s on the heel. 932 and 2 on opposite sides of heel. It was made in a post mold. I believe i read that this mark was used from 1911 to 1929. The bottle is only...- katb

Has anyone seen this makers mark?
Hi everyone, I am not sure what year this bottle is from. Looks like cup mold to me. It has a seam around the bottom just above the base. Forgot what that part is called. The seam doesn't look like it goes over the lip. The mark on the base is a " T " and that is all, no numbers. Its amethyst...- katb
