    KY soda/mineral water bottle additions

Here's what I have for Epping bottling dates (not my research).

    KY soda/mineral water bottle additions

The bottle on far right is Jennerich & Epping, which from my notes is H. Epping, 1871-1872. Do you know if H. Epping was kin to John G. Epping?

    KY soda/mineral water bottle additions

Added 3 KY bottles to my collection yesterday. These are in "as dug" condition and were dug in Louisville back in the 70'S or so. The Bakers and G are iron pontil.

KY soda / mineral water bottles

Yeah, hutchbook lists 9 embossing variations. I have 3 variations, but I got them at one time from a collection I bought. I'm not sure on their rarity for sure, but I don't think I've seen one pop up on ebay in the past few years I've been tracking KY hutches. So, I'd guess they aren't super...

KY soda / mineral water bottles

A few very knowledgeable KY collectors said it is a gravitating stopper, but it's listed on hutchbook as a hutch because it doesn't have the Matthew's patent info base embossing. I'm not totally sure but know it's a tough one.

KY soda / mineral water bottles

Yeah, as far as I know. The first two are iron pontil.

    Lawrence kansas drug store bottle

Sweet! I've lived in Lawrence a few times back in the late 90's...love that town. I'm from Olathe originally. Id love a Lawrence druggist, are they tough to find in general?

I posted these right before the Web site overhall, but I don't see my post anymore. So here they are again.

    Louisville KY Hutch collection

Tim, 1 was not, and info sent to Ron already. A few of them had some minor variations from hutchbook, but I'm guessing those are because of hard to read embossing on the bottles used for the hutchbook listing.

    Louisville KY Hutch collection

I finally bought the collection from him 2 weeks ago. Ended up with 32 hutches, with only 5 duplicates. I posted a picture of a green Geo Stang over in the favorite hutch thread.

    What is it?

Excellent, I'll pass it on to my buddy, thanks all!

    What is it?

Howdy, a buddy of mine recently inherited a collection of bourbon bottles (mostly full) and other bourbon go-withs from his grandfather, who use to work in the bourbon industry here in KY. I was wondering if anyone could ID this piece of glass and maybe what it was used for? Is it...

New Local Druggist - Stanford KY

Thanks, don't have too many so far, although I'm not hunting them down through retail venues at this time. Relying on junk shops and flea markets. I need to find a KY druggists collector so I can see what's out there. I have druggists from: Louisville, Berea, Lexington, Stanford, Richmond.

PICTURE DRUGGISTS! From anywhere wanted, except for pestle & mortar.

Nice KY druggists, really like that Bedford bottle. If you have anymore KY druggists I'd be interested in seeing some pictures. Thanks

New Local Druggist - Stanford KY

Always looking for local druggists and came across this one tucked away on a shelf in a local junk shop. Excited to add it to my collection of KY druggists. Stanford is a small town ~ 25 mi from where I bought it. The bottle is ~3" tall. [attachment=Stanford Druggist(AY)(1)(1)(1).jpg]
