Thanks guys. Y'all were right. Had tons of lookers (around 100+ the first time. 66 so far this time.), but even lowered the price less to .82 cents /bottle. I figured with all the embossed, someone would jump on it. Too bad I don't have the stopper for the Listerine bottle!
Oh, well...
OK, I have heard of Ball and even Kerr. Never heard of Atlas & Lamb. And I have have one that reads "Tropical Canners" with a "TF" in a diamond.
I ended up with these out of a huge cache of bottles (300-400!) I bought a couple of weeks ago.
I'm guessing MAYBE $5 each for value? They...

I tried wiping is down with CLR, which is a REAL mild Hydrochorlic acid, but Maybe I should think about soaking it. I don't know what year the bottle is from, but I kind of get the idea that it's worth hanging onto.
I probably had well over 100 spikes. But I could never figure out what to use them for. I tried selling them at train shows, but people only wanted to pay a $1 max. I got tired of hauling them around. So 15 years ago, I ended up selling them for scrap.
Now, I have found 6-8 so far this...
If you live in an area that freezes in winter, then you want to use torpedo sand and not the stone dust. The reason is that stone dust holds more water (more fine particles) and can cause heaving in winter. The type of sand you use is important also. Torpedo sand is angular and locks in the...
This Bottle was part of the large cache I got.
I soaked it my secret cleaner and the bottle is clean enough to drink out of. Except for this funky coating on the outside. I have tried scouring powder and 3M Scotch brite, I have tried "Goof Off". I even tried wipeing it with CLR. (With...
As a railroad photographer for 30 years, I loved picking up spikes & Date nails. I had 5 gallon buckets full. When I get a dozen, I'd fire up my compressor and sand blast them. Except I didn't use Sand, I used good ol' Arm & Hammer baking soda. I would cut thru the crude, but not hurt the...
I was thinking I need of get more of a mix in there. In the Brown Lot, I only have 3 (2 Clorox - 1 Texize) and all the others, while quite a few of them are marked (Parker-Davis) I need more if a mix. Same for the clear. I could do 2-4, 35 bottle sets of soda bottles very easily from the...
The way Treasure Seekers International works is that whoever finds the cache gets to keep an equitable aomunt in either product or cash once everything is sold. The remaning money is then split between the members who worked the cache and TSI itself. (For operating costs and to be split among...
