    Barber Medicine company

The Barber Veterinary company bottle for "Lung Fever" is extremely rare. In fact, after 20 years and selling over 40 other Barber examples, I have never seen this bottle or box. I guess that counts as rare.

    Glogers/Glovers

Melinda, I saw the bottle on ebay and tried to look for info on the web. I did find one reference to the LaFrance company but it did not tell me anything about what the company produced. I have never seen or heard of anything else from that company. I would consider that the medicine was...

    Dr. Daniel's

Melinda, probably old news but the bottle has to date after 1917. Dr. Daniels was incorporated in 1917, so the INC. embossed on the bottle tells its age.

Dr Daniel's Cure adv pennants / flags

This is probably old news, but I am new to the forums. what you have are not pennants but panels from an advertising tractor umbrella. Dr. Daniels gave away these umbrellas to stores which sold his remedies. They have four panels, two advertised medicines and two typically advertised the store.

I know of three different Dr. Daniels' medicines that were produced in the huge bottles. Wonder Worker Liniment, Oster-Cocus, and Witch Hazel. He also produced an earlier version with a huge Witch Hazel bottle ( not embossed) with a label that completely surrounds the oval bottle.

    Chapin's Spavin Cure

Mark. thanks for the photo. I'm new to the forums, so is it ok to copy your photo? The booklet did not have any images, but I can copy the title page and post it. The bottle is from New York. Will dig it back out and give you the name of the maker and the town. Melinda, thanks for the...
