    coke bottle question

    while metal detecting today I found several bottles of coca cola with Newport News, VA on them as well as a few with Alexanderia VA on them. Are these worth picking up? I dont know if there are collectors out there trying to get some from each state or anything like that. Thanks! Curt

    new bottle today

    found this bottle at an old burned out house site. It green glass, it has bubbles in it, a round base with a little warp from the fire, and a few different mold lines. thought maybe an old wine bottle, but would like your expert opinions pls. This house was in a historic area pre-civil war.

    Shark tooth...Nope

    Found this arrowhead / projectile point yesteday on a sandbar while looking for bottles. At first I thought it was a fossilized shark tooth, but when I got home I noticed it was "chipped" into its current shape. Any good links for helping to id this to a certain tribe or what it is called?

    Pluto Devil

    Found a Pluto Devil bottle today and I cant seem to find this size or design of the devil on Ebay. very similar but the other devils are larger than this one. I'd say the bottle is 10 oz or so. I saw during a search that this was a laxative water bottle? is that correct?

    Ok, Here is a pharmacy bottle from fishburne and son in wyanesboro va that I found today. Anyone know what might have been inside? Looked on ebay and they dont have one, and google said the company is still around. Value? It has a chip on the lip. :(

    olympic USA Amber bottle

    I found about a six pack worth of what looks like beer bottles today. Nothing on them except several embossed USA and the Olympic circle symbol aroung the top. I left them there. I'll go get them tomorrow if you guys think it might be worth the trip just for pictures. what do you think?

    My First Milk Bottle

    FINALLY!! I found a F H Cardwell Dairy 1 pint milk bottle today. Its embossed with FH Cardwell Dairy Hampton VA. Has anyone seen one before? I'll post a picture tomorrow. Pretty excited to see one. It was just laying on top of the ground. Sweet.
