Alrighty Jim,,,,,I'll wait for your reply, providing your vision is OK. HA Anna, I thought maybe because it has a triangular shape that it might be a poison as it would "feel different" in the dark, but that's just a guess. Thanks for your replies

Ale & Quail

Hey everyone, I have come across a few "Ale & Quail Beverage" bottles, 7 oz. size, with green and white ACL. Also marked on the reverse "Property of the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Bridgeton, Bridgeton, N.J." I don't collect ACL's, but I'm willing to see that they find a home of a collector...

Hi everyone, I picked up this little 6 sided, teal colored bottle at an antique shop for $4. Along with the lop-sided neck, it has a smooth bottom and stands 2 3/4" tall, flat to flat distance of 1 1/2", and a fairly thick lip. Looks to me like an unguent or salve container. Any other...

What was it used for?

Hey Jim, It appears to me to be a "catch jar" for an old wall mounted coffee grinder. Beans were in a larger container on top and the smaller jar caught the ground coffee. Maybe a little more research on grinders might turn up a match with the embossing on the bottom. Fred

Top to a figural

Hey Charlie, The bottom ( or body ) to this bottle was either acid etched or frosted. The total height would have been around 5" or so, but I remember little else about it other than it was extremely thin and fragile. It was broken during a move even though it was wrapped in newspaper.
