Meiklejohn Ale Alloa (guessing mid 1800's)
Greetings from Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Meiklejohns were indeed a well respected local brewer. The firm passed into the hands of Charles Maitland and partners, eventually Maitland became the owner to all intents and purposes. He renamed the brewery as the Bass Crest Brewery and...- macalloa
