    DETROIT TEASER ALERT

    Not a bottle but it does mention them. Got this ALTES LAGER (Detroit MI) metal sign at the BCCA Canvention 52 held in Louisville. Was found in the wall of a house 8 years ago during the home remodel. Now to find a green ALTES LAGER bottle to go with it.

    Was a lone Bottle Collector amidst a sea of Beer Can Collectors at the recent BCCA Canvention held in Louisville. While there I entered a display of KENTUCKY HISTORIC EMBOSSED BEER BOTTLES and called it BLUEGRASS GLASS. They awarded the display 1st place in the Open Category.
