Perfect Seal RB #2334 oddity
Howdy all! I have a Perfect Seal which I tracked down in the RB as number 2334. I have 4 examples of this. However, one is unique. All of them are the exact same from design, to the Pat. What is it?
Found this thing recently. Anyone have any idea what it is? the wire rim seems to clamp around the bottom of the bottle to hold it upside down? The seem doesn't seem to go all the way through to the lip. I'm guessing the galvanized chain was added at a later date? The bottle is all one piece...- optivo1981

Help with Ball Special
Howdy all, I have a little pint size Ball Special jar. Pretty sure it's 301-5 or 301-6 unless I'm totally off my mark. The only problem is the differences seem to be one is more squatty, and one is less squatty? Does that mean like kinda gets wider down at the bottom or something? Also the 301-6...- optivo1981

Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858
I got my RedBook (Thanks epackage for telling me about this book) and was trying to find this jar when I discovered the wonderful MASON'S PATENT NOV 30TH 1858 jar apparently has hundreds of variations! My guess is 1875-2. The base has A 79. There is no period for Nov, and the TH is underlined...- optivo1981

Interesting glass lid with metal device
Found a glass lid that has a metal device on it that seems to spin 1/2 way which tightens the metal down. The glass base is 2 1/4 inches wide. The top of the lid says Patented Sept 2 1884 Aug 4 1885. Couple Cobalt Blue Medicines?
I got 2 small cobalt blue bottles. I was going to sell them on eBay but wanted to make sure they were just the commons I think they are first.
