I am always searching for new medicines in color without embossing. The deep aqua med is a recent addition and it is believed to be a Ohio bottle. This is the first time I have encountered this form and I have talked with some others who said it was a new one for them as well. It has a nice...
Since things have been slow around here lately, I thought I would take the time to post a rather neat looking bottle my dad picked up recently. I have seen these in clear but this amber color seems to be scarce. I assume these are after the U.S. Army hospital bottles. It has a tooled lip and...
I picked this one up from forum member earlyglass aka Michael George this week. I put a normal cylinder in the pick for comparison. Very unusual to see this long neck on one of these. The lip is as clean of an application as I have seen as well.
Nice 1955 Coca Cola poster with no condition issues. The 7up pieces are 1956 and the piece featuring the woman is a bottle topper. Best part I even got multiples.
Picked up a few new ones for my collection figured I would share them with you guys. First one came from Jeff Noordsy nice big snuff with chamfered corners and I would say a rather tough color to find. Next one is a nice two piece mold open pontil New England snuff my dad found at an auction for...
Hello I have a demijohn that is open pontiled and blown in a three piece mold. What I would like to know is how come the seams running around the shoulder of the bottle do not match up. Why didn't the mold maker make the top two pieces the same size? One side is an inch longer than the other. I...
Hey guys, it has been a while since I had a chance to post any new finds so I figured I would throw this on. It really added a splash of color to my utility collection which has mostly shades of amber and olive in it. I call it peacock blue and it has a nice sharp open pontil. I would like to...
I need some help finding out what caused this interesting mark on the base of this snuff bottle. I hope Red will see this and help shed some light on this. I believe this has been discussed on here before but I can not find the post. Thanks for any ideas you guys could give me on this little...
Hello I would like to hear some thoughts on where this little pontiled utility possibly could have originated. Bottle stands 2 1/2 inches tall. I hate that it is damaged but sometimes you take what you get. Nice color and will have a spot on my shelf until I can upgrade. If anyone can help with...
Hey guys this another purchase from Baltimore. I bought this from forum member cornucopia. I love the orange peel effect and the overall crudeness of this little bottle.
This is one of my buys from the Baltimore show. First time I saw one of these was in Jeff Noordsy's sold items and I loved it! So I had to have it when I stumbled across it at the show.
This is how I found this Coca Cola bottle and I believe that this is just from years of being in the sun. I would like to know what you guys think. Usually when I see nuked bottles they are much darker and I would rather not deceive anybody if I sell it. I have never nuked a bottle ever and...
Hey Dennis aka celerycola here are the pictures I promised to post. Calendar is in beautiful condition with only one fold right above the full calendar pad.
Hey guys I wanted to share this ginger ale label that I found here in Roanoke, VA. The label reads, In the Manufacture Of Cascade Ginger Ale The Most Scientific Skill Is Employed By Which Quality And Flavor Can Be Assured Cascade Ginger Ale Bottled By Roanoke Bottling And Cider Co. Roanoke, VA...
Hello everyone I was just curious how some of you guys like to tumble your bottles. My dad taught me how to tumble about ten years ago and we have always cleaned ours in two stages. My tumbler also has two different I guess you could say stations, one spot you can only clean the inside of your...
