New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Hey everyone; I decided to start listing what look to be some of the nicer and hopefully, more desirable bottles on FleaBay... If you perused through my snapshots (wow!) and had a favorite (even if I couldn't give it to you...[;)]) PM me or post here, as I really 'dislike' [:@] eBay and their...

Another mystery: Geo. A Bayle stopper/lid

Hi all, Here's another puzzle...My best guess is this is from a Bayle's Horseradish bottle, although I have no idea what one looks like! I can find numerous mention in old newspapers and magazines, that's about it. Anyone have a mate to this?

What is this Hazel Atlas Deco Cork Top ???

Yes, I wasn't certain of the type of cap/stopper that would have come with this bottle either. I was kinda thinking a stopper...but if it contained a food product, it makes sense that a metal cap would top it. I tried searching pickles, relish, chilies, mustard, catchup, etc, etc. Also tried...

What is this Hazel Atlas Deco Cork Top ???

So I've spent hours looking for info on this one. Does anyone know where to look for Hazel-Atlas bottle codes? I only found a few doc's on the mfg locations, nothing on end users. Thanks for your help! Here's the bottle:

No luck finding this one.."Gets it' inscribed on bottom?

Thanks, I do agree it must be Gets-It. I think its an earlier version because of the bottle characteristics (crude BIM?) and the arch-top sides where the label is applied. The bottle is one of those found in my "40-year Old Arizona Collection" I've been sorting through, and posted in the...

No luck finding this one.."Gets it' inscribed on bottom?

I did see one bottle on eBay for Gets It wart remover, but it doesn't look at all like this. Spent hours searching...Anyone have a clue to offer on this one:

New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Hi David, I'll let everyone know once I decide how to deal with all these. I should've done this when I had the time last year! Now, I have to get myself to Anchorage ASAP and this is turning into quite a project! I'll PM you once I get to that point of selling off groups or lots. Thanks! Rick

Yeah, that JD miniature is cool. I think the 'Bottled for American Airlines" is nice too!

New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Well I took a while...but I went through, hand washed, semi-sorted and photoed the five boxes of bottles. Sure are some pretty ones in there and most are in remarkable condition! Shamefully, I chipped one of the nicer ones with - of all things - a tooth brush; a tiny pontiled stamped medicine...

New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Thanks everyone for your valuable advice! @Red: Did receive the email and found it very helpful and informative. Bet you've seen a few bottles in your day! I should point out that what I pulled from storage may not be representative of what's there...only the first ones on the top of the...

New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Thanks for your help everyone!!! So sounds like I should just go through and look for the older/unique ones, take a quick photo and go from there...? I'd be looking for those that are not machine made or molded? Maybe unpack them all and take a group photo? Your group seems to be able to...

New to this but need help...I have a huge 40 yr-old collection!

Hi Collectors! I have been toting a cache of bottles that I collected 40+ years ago as a teenager in Central Arizona. Most are from area mines near Prescott and the Verde Valley. I'm considering selling now, as storing these for any longer seems pointless. Question is: Where do I go from...
